Game night, sorted

The quiz game for game night

Need a game everyone can join in seconds? Squad Quiz turns any TV, laptop or tablet into a team trivia night for parties and hangouts. It's free and there's no sign-up.

Why it works

Built for groups

Everything about Squad Quiz is designed for a room full of people and one screen.

One screen, no phones

Everyone plays on a single shared screen, so nobody downloads an app or signs in.

Squads, not solo

2 to 5 squads (teams) of any size, so it works for four people or forty.

Fair rounds

Every squad gets the same number of turns, and the starting squad rotates.

Fast and loud

Faster answers score more, so every question gets tense.

Your questions

Upload a custom quiz about your friends, your family, your office or your class.

Free, forever

No accounts, no ads and no downloads. Open it and play.

Pick your occasion

One game, every get-together

Game night

Game night with friends

Put Squad Quiz on the TV, split the room into squads and play a round between board games. Make a custom quiz about your friend group's inside jokes for extra chaos.

Parties

House parties and birthdays

A quick round is an easy icebreaker when guests don't all know each other. Mix people into new squads each round with Play again.

Hangouts

Hangouts and sleepovers

No setup, no accounts and no extra devices. Open it on a laptop and you're playing in under a minute.

Seasonal

Halloween and Christmas parties

Switch on the spooky Halloween skin, with fog, bats and a graveyard podium, or the cosy Christmas skin, with snow and fairy lights.

Classrooms

Classroom quizzes

Teachers can upload a revision quiz and let teams compete on the classroom screen.

Work

Team building and office socials

Run a quick team-building trivia round on a meeting-room screen. No IT setup required.

Pro tips

How to run a great quiz night

  1. Use the biggest screen you have and turn the sound up.
  2. Keep squads balanced: 2 to 6 players each works well.
  3. Set 12 to 20 questions per round for about 15–30 minutes of play.
  4. Shorten the timer in Settings for a faster, louder game.
  5. Read the explanation after each answer aloud. That's where the arguments start.

Ready, squad?

Grab a screen, split into squads and settle the argument. Free, no sign-up, ready in seconds.
